My Story

It had been a couple years since I'd graduated from my coaching program. I was sitting at my kitchen table in my cute but expensive rented apartment in Vancouver Canada that I share with my daughter.

Looking at my Apple laptop and feeling stressed out that I hadn't found a way to run my coaching business yet. Even though my program taught us a bit about building our business I still felt overwhelmed, and confused about where to start, how to actually build my practice and put everything together.

I had been working full time in the beauty industry at the time at a job I was very unhappy in, with a manager I was not compatible with and felt stuck I just wanted to be able to quit my job and have freedom to work from home doing what I love, and live my life on my terms based on my own values and principles and help others do the same.

My desire to have a successful and lucrative coaching business was so strong that I'd done numerous online business courses, got Certified as a Law of Attraction Coach, as well as mindset, goals and life purpose coach, Certified as a Business and Entrepreneur coach through a top coaching academy.

I Learned everything I could about choosing a niche, finding your tribe, marketing, messaging, and setting up the backend tech part of running a coaching business simply and efficiently. How to set up and put systems into place.

I'd already been coaching 1-1 privately, and getting paid, but getting clients was inconsistant But I was determined to to this on my own. I thought I don't need to hire an expensive coach or mentor! I will figure this out!

I started to do what a lot of new coaches do which is subscribe to a lot of different coaches programs, that tell you how to run your business, with different methodologies, and strategies, but it all ended up being complicated funnels, and so many steps, which left me feeling overwhelmed, and more confused.

I just needed help figuring out how to do this in a way that didn't feel complicated, or overwhelming.

 

The one thing I hadn't done yet and had resistance to was hire a coach and mentor and so that's what I did. At the beginning of this year I hired a business coach mentor who had found me online and I'd been following her page for a while and her message and business style resonated with me. so I finally took the plunge and hired her as my business mentor and coach. I invested the money I'm glad I did because it helped me shift my mindset even more to create habits in my business that started to bring huge results into my business attracting more clients, sales, and framework to run my coaching business in a simplified and efficient way. Feeling supported and encouraged along the way.

Just this week I have attracted 8 new coaching clients which is almost a full roster of clients! I want to help my clients do the same.By the way, I did end up quitting that job in the beauty industry that I wasn't happy in.
